Counselling can help you work through difficulties, allow you to explore your feelings without judgement, make positive changes and support you in your personal development offering space for healing and growth. ​ 

There is no right or wrong reason to come for counselling. Counselling is time for you! As a humanistic counsellor I provide a non-judgemental, supportive space where the focus is on you.  I will meet you as the unique individual that you are and work with you in the way that suits you best, listening to your wants and needs. 

​Some of the issues that might bring people to therapy include;

  • Feeling depressed, anxious or suffering with panic attacks

  • Living with loneliness, or isolation

  • Struggling with the impact of Covid-19

  • Experiencing feelings of low self-esteem or self worth

  • Grieving the loss of a loved one, or illness

  • Looking for support in times of crisis or change

  • Space to explore sexual issues or sexual identity

  • Simply the need to talk things through with someone who isn't in your circle of friends and family

Whatever it is you are struggling with, counselling gives you space to talk through your problems allowing you to better understand yourself and to learn new ways of coping.  This creates space for healing from emotional pain and distress and can lead to change, growth, greater confidence and personal empowerment.
